“I had honestly never heard of Ratio. My wife was doing research on quality coffee but with ease of use. We love good coffee but don’t want to to go thru the hassle of the pour over style. She sent me the link for the Ratio Six. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth every penny? ABSOLUTELY. The Six is by far the best coffee maker I have ever used. Even using sub par, pre ground beans, the coffee is amazing, smooth, and the flavors are so much more pronounced. We don’t have to add tons of cream and sugar to make a great cup. Just brew and then a touch of sugar. I am a Ratio fan! So much so, that we just jumped on the bandwagon with their preferred grinder as well.”
“Gorgeous, sleek, modern coffee maker. This machine is simple to use and easy to clean. My coffee in morning tastes & smells amazing. I have had the Ratio 6 for about 3 weeks now and totally enjoy making my morning brew. Thanks Ratio 6!!!”
“I have had my eye on a ration for a couple of years. So happy to finally have one! Simplicity and high quality. I love how my ration looks on my counter and I love how my coffee tastes. Great customer service and shipping time even through the holidays was pretty quick. I'm always thrilled to support companies and products made right here in the USA!”
“Great coffee maker and much easier to use than an actual pour over/manual drip setup. Tastes great as well! Super pleased and excited for their new new products! Mark is super nice and they have Amazon customer service as well.”
“I was on the fence between the Ratio Six and the Technivorm Moccamaster for awhile, finally went with the Ratio and I’m really glad I did.
Pros:
* Grounds get fully saturated
* Coffee tastes great
* Easy to clean
* Brew time is quick.
* Sleek attractive design
* I like how the unit didn’t have a plastic toxic smell when I opened it up.
* Minimal plastic along hot water path, only the basket from what I can tell
Cons:
* Price
* There’s a lip around the carafe that disrupts the flow when pouring so the pour can be messy if done incorrectly.
Despite the 2 cons, still I would highly recommend....the price is worth it and the pour will be just fine if you til the carafe about 120 degrees then press the lever.”
