I am really enjoying the coffee and am still finding the roast that I prefer. If it was for just the taste of the coffee I would give it 5 stars. But it does take a lot of coffee to make it right if you want a say only two cups vs four. You have to use 35 grams to make two 5 oz cups of coffee (one mug) and 40 grams of coffee to make four 5 oz cups (two mugs). So two cups is very expensive to make compared to four. Also the carafe is great and really keeps the coffee hot and fresh but it really takes some effort to get it to empty. I will say the cup water marks are pretty accurate when you weigh the recommended amount of water. So I don't weigh the water anymore. I just use the cup indicator marks on the water tank. Since I am the only coffee drinker in the house, I would like the unit to be able to make a great tasting cup of coffee (which it does) with lesser beans when only wanting two cups. . So that is why I rated it a four. Would I buy this unit again? Absolutely.

So sleek and works like a charm. Ordered it for pre-order back in May and it was 100% worth the wait.

Looks great, coffee tastes great, but lacking in functionality. Prone to coffee dripping inherently when removing filter holder from carafe. When lid is placed on carafe, tends to pour in a sprinkling manner initially as well which leads to spills. Could be refined.

Hey Chad, Thanks for the feedback! Please try tipping the carafe over first before opening the pour spout; it should deliver the coffee in a nice stream. If you give the filter holder a slight jostle before completely removing from the thermal carafe, it can reduce and nearly eliminate any drips. Hope this helps!
