“The Ratio Six is easy to use, consistent, and makes great coffee (if you've got good ingredients). I only make 4 "cups" at a time on the machine – which I've measured as being ~730 ml of water to take it to the 4 cup mark on the water reservoir. Right now I'm grinding 45 g of coffee to go alongside that and have been getting good results.
Interactions with the machine are generally great – it's easy to push the machine around on the counter when I need to get to the water reservoir. The separate filter basket and carafe aren't as finicky as I thought they'd be – in fact, it's a nice reminder to clean them when you have all of the pieces separated on your counter. The one-touch button start works well and keeps the interface clean. The only gripe I've occasionally had is that the water intake hole is a bit narrow when you're dispensing water into it.
Overall I'm glad that I purchased this over the Breville Precision Brewer – it's simple and looks great on the counter. Buy it now while the holiday pricing is in effect, and make sure you've got a great grinder to go alongside it!”

One star deducted for a handful of usability bugs. It feels as though the designers made a clever and beautiful thing, and then moved on. I got a sympathetic ear from Ratio support, but the bugs are not fixable.”
“Absolutely love this coffee machine. I received it in January, and have been enjoying really great coffee at the touch of a button since then. It is easy to use, fast and the machine looks great. No regrets and well worth the price. The only thing that I wished would be a bit better is the quality of the carafe. The black on the black carafe has now chipped a bit, and we have been careful with it as we are with what we own in general. May have to purchase the glass carafe to solve for this.”
