Had a Breville coffee maker for many years which outshined Starbucks burnt offerings. With my new Ratio Eight Series 2 we know how coffee truly tastes. Thank you!

We purchased the Ratio 8 primarily because of looks - but have been impressed with it overall. Basically: - It makes great coffee - It is incredibly easy to operate (no fancy options/features that never get used anyway) I'm a fan of pour-over style machines, and this is probably one of the best out there right now.

This is, by far, the best coffee maker we have ever owned. My wife and I have used Chemex for years, but with 3 young kids we've been trying to find a machine that offers both the same level of quality with an automatic pourover process. Thanks for creating such a beautiful product!

We had a few small issues when we received the coffee maker, but customer service responded immediately and replace it without hesitation. The coffee maker is beautiful and the coffee tastes great, all without plastics….I love it and would recommend it to anyone! Love it!!

I used to use one of those "Mostly Plastic Yet Very Expensive" coffee makers before switching to a French press a few years ago when we started eliminating all plastics from our kitchen. The French press method works great but I got tired of having to manually stir the coffee grounds for 4 minutes every morning. I never considered a manual pour over method as it would also require that I physically stand over the darned thing pouring hot water while the coffee slowly dripped into the pot. Every now and then since converting to a French press, I would search for a 100% stainless steel and glass coffee brewer with no success, until I stumbled on the Ratio 8 S2 a month ago. What a game changer. Same great coffee as those "Mostly Plastic Yet Very Expensive" coffee makers, yet it doesn't require me to physically supervise it while it brews. In less than 5 minutes, I have fantastic pour-over quality coffee. PS. You need to get the thermal carafe right from the get-go, as it doesn't have a heating plate so the glass carafe would make the coffee cold right away. I would probably hate this machine if it didn't have a thermal carafe option.

I am now using this Ratio 8 to make my coffee and believe me, the experience and taste is superior! Pour over coffee has more health benefits AND is meant to be made fresh. I make 1 cup at a time (so easy) and so delicious. This is not the old paradigm of making a pot of coffee that sits. This is about making fresh coffee to be had immediately. Use heat retaining mugs if need be, but make yourself a fresh cup each time. It's completely worth it and this machine is a GAME CHANGER for my morning coffee. So so happy I found it!!!
