“The cone makes excellent coffee, but it is difficult to make a large pot of coffee without overflowing the grounds, no matter what size the grounds are. When we want to make a full pot we have to use the paper filters.”

Very fine openings allows the coffee to rest with water around the grounds before filtering through making it perfect timing for the coffee to develop the best flavor. Very sturdy and easy to clean. I’m sure this will last a long time! Great design!”
“The cone is great but I wish there wasn’t a plastic ring component at the upper rim. The main advantage of using the Ratio 8 with stainless steel cone is to avoid at hot water interface with plastic. When using the 70 g suggestion of coffee to 8 cups ratio, and using the correct grind coarseness, there is a brief amount of time that the hot water rises to touch the plastic ring interface. Maybe the plastic ring could be thinner?”
