SAMi® is a video-based sleep activity monitor for parents, caregivers and individuals that need to watch carefully for unusual movements at night. SAMi can detect and alarm on all types of movement, with settings that can be easily customized to your individual needs. During sleep, the SAMi camera's proprietary technology monitors for unusual or abnormal movement in the field of view. When abnormal movement is detected, an alarm sounds on the Apple device running the SAMi iOS app (iPhone / iPod / iPad / Mac) and displays a live video / audio feed. “Our son has battled epilepsy for several years but just developed nighttime seizures in the last year. We received our SAMi-3 complete kit 2 months ago and for the first time in the last year we are finally able to get some rest without cosleeping. It does a great job at catching all movement and several different types of seizure activity (tonic-clonic, tonic and atonic) and having the capability to email it directly to our neuro is so handy. I’m not sure how we functioned without our SAMi! From one epilepsy (Doose syndrome) family to another, I would highly recommend. It’s worth every penny.”

“This monitor is an incredible resource for detecting seizures. It is reliable and not too sensitive like others. There are a lot of functions and settings to make it more personable and relative to your situation. There is sound so for me I am able to see and hear my daughter. With her seizures she makes this sound but does not have clonictonic seizures.”

“Great product! Easy to install and set-up. Camera and Tablet work great! Video and audio are very clear. Software on tablet is very logical and easy to navigate. We had our SAMI less than 3 weeks before it alerted us to a seizure in the middle of the night. Video archive is one of the best features. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!”

“We bought this last year after our child had a long febrile seizure, has significant asthma and speech apraxia. As the parent who saw the seizure, I was having serious anxiety leaving my son while sleeping afterwards. The SAMi is easy to get set up and we can program to alarm at various time intervals. The picture quality is very clear and easy to see my child. I feel that if there would be any seizure activity, I would be alerted. I am so thankful for this product!”
