“Purchased this poncho for an upcoming rafting trip through the Grand Canyon. The fabric and stitching appears to be top notch. The cotton is soft and warm. The canyon water temps will be 50 degrees so my expectations are that the poncho will provide warmth when changing; and of course privacy.”

“Washed it before wearing, normal cycle, cold water, low dryer temp. Threads on the triangular yoke frayed but the seams still seem sound, for now. A picture is uploaded. *Update. Immediate response from Sand Cloud was that the threads on the yoke were a style choice (relaxed, comfortable, casual? My words, not theirs though all true). Garment still looks a feels good through subsequent wear and washing.
Is this supposed to happen?”
