I was looking at a smaller scooter - something like the Segway Ninebots that you see on the streets everywhere, but with enough power to carry my 100kg+ up Brisbane hills. I definitely didn't want one of those Big Scooters that look like they'd be able to handle Armageddon because my wife would have to be able to use it and carry it as well. And also I didn't want it to cost thousands... The InMotion Climber fits the bill perfectly. It is not too big but has enough power for any hill I could find so far in my commute to work is concerned. There were definitely hills that I thought the scooter could not handle but it did handle them without any issues. Without a doubt, this was the right choice for me. The staff at Scooter Hut were great too. Of particular note was the comment about a scooter being suited to commenting versus fun on the weekends. If you need a scooter for commuting to work, then don't chose a scooter that won't be able to handle daily routines, including rain. GOOD POINTS: Not too big yet powerful, and can handle Brisbane hills. BAD POINTS: No suspension. Only one brake lever (takes a while to get used to). But none of these are deal breakers. WISH: two brake levers, suspension, beeping alarm if someone is trying to move (steal) the scooter. Would be willing to pay an additional AUD$250 for these features.

This has to be the best commuting scooter by far! Exceeded my expectation thats for sure. From its folding mechanism from the AirPro, to it's handle bars from the S1, most comfortable ride I've had by far. This scooter has the best hill cilmb I've ever seen from a "commuting scooter", 36 degrees is more than enough, considering it has dual 450W motors. Not only that, it's also compacted and pretty light in my opinion weighing in 20kg. This scooter also has its own app, so you can connect to the scooter through your phone, see how far youve ridin for the day (or just in general), and will always stay up to date with it's software. This scooter is "almost" perfect, and the reason I say "almost" is because I would've loved this scooter to have some sort of suspension. Either 'Rear' or 'Front', or maybe even 'Both'. But overall, this is an amazing scooter and would happily recommend this scooter to anyone for commuting or just for fun :)

This scooter has met all expectations. Speed, power and build. Service for click and collect in brisbane was great, they put it all together for me and gave me a run down. No regrets for not going for a cheaper random online website.

I’ve really enjoyed the power and glide of this scooter. It can really handle some steep hills that my previous Segway could not! I couldn’t be happier with this upgrade. Sydney hills are no longer an issue!

My daily commute has been revolutionized! The InMotion Climber E-Scooter's hill-climbing ability is unreal. I can zip up steep slopes without a worry. Thanks to the Team in Springwood for helping me pick it out.

I own both this scooter and the S1. Both are good, S1 overall is a better scooter but the climber is more fun to ride. But I’m surprised that none of the reviews here are mentioning the considerably bad range this scooter has. So I’m guessing that the reviewers here have short commutes or it’s their first scooter and don’t know any better. Also the advertised 38kmph top speed is short lived, but that’s simply down to a 36v system, you can’t expect much at those volt ranges. This scooter is really only a good purchase if you commute is less than 30kms.

Hi Simon, Thank you for your honest comparison between the Climber and S1, of course, if max range is what you are looking to get out of an E-scooter then there is nothing that beats the S1! But for its lower price point, the Climber excels in other aspects like its Torque! As I am sure you are aware with any E-scooter the max speed, range and hill climb are calculated by the manufacturer under controlled factory conditions. Factors such as rider weight, terrain, hills, power mode and heavy acceleration can greatly affect these figures. I guess the best question to ask when choosing between the Climber and the S1 is do you want crazy power, or crazy distance? Either way, we appreciate the 5 stars and comparison of the Climber to the S1 and we are happy to hear you are having fun on your new ride! Please don't hesitate to reach out to us at info@scooterhut.com.au or give us a call on 07 5593 4813 if there is anything we can ever do to help! - Tom

I replaced my trusty old ninebot max with The Climber hoping for something similar, but much more capable of getting up the steep roads where I live in Darlinghurst, Sydney. I not disappointed at all. It can get up every hill in the area at at least 25km/h, rather than slowing to 10km/h like the Ninebot. Now I'm just hoping it is as reliable as the Ninebot. It seems solidly built, no rattles or wobbles. Thanks to Scooter Hut for importing this model.

Hi Thomas, Thank you for your wonderful 5 star review. There is a reason why this scooter consecutively receives 5 star reviews, it's one of my favourites hands down. So happy to hear how in love you are with the Inmotion Commuter Climber scooter too. Thanks, Dani

I Took the climbers name to the test, so I tested it up 30 degrees hill with no momentum and was no problem at all, going 15kph witch is crazy for such a compact commuter scooter solid build, great brakes as the scooter gives you the option in the INMOTION app to change your brake force percentage all round great scooter, would definitely recommend this scooter for beginners and experienced riders.
