“I received my re-shipment of kilts today - the originals I had ordered were too large despite measuring per the website guidelines. While I was not able to receive a refund for those (I understand a hesitance to take back "custom" garments, but failing to do so really isn't "100% Customer Satisfaction"), I was able to replace them at a much-reduced cost. Both kilts fit well, are constructed solidly and are made of a fabric heavy enough to hold form but not so much as to be overly warm in the summer.
I like the closure system of buttons and the two side straps - that allows some customization of fit which is appreciated, especially as middle age challenges my metabolism. The side pockets are suitably sturdy and utilitarian. The belt loop grommets on the side seem a bit haphazard - most are firmly in place, but a few haven't been completely tacked down.
Shipping time is an issue. The company headquarters is US-based, but the actual construction seems to take place in Pakistan, meaning international shipping times and difficulty in tracking packages. That said, it felt like every effort was made to expedite shipping and get a quality product out as quickly as possible.
Overall, I am very pleased with the product. I do wish the customer guarantee was truly 100%, especially in instances where the customer followed all company instructions, but the service I did receive was prompt in response, friendly and efficient.”
