“These anchors have worked great on my Shelter Logic truck shelter. They were reasonably easy to install and my shelter has withstood some high wind gusts here in the back woods of Vermont!”
“Every time I tried to hammer the anchors into the ground (we are in a highly rocky area) the rod would get stuck in the anchor and pull it back out of the ground. The rod needs to be tapered on one end or a slightly smaller diameter to keep it from jamming into the anchor. Getting the rod to release from the anchor was also a fun task. Vice grips and claw hammer! After the third attempt, I gave up”
“Overall a great product. Once installed it met my needs and passed inspection. I'd recommend cleaning the end of the driving rod and using some grease or anti seize on it though. It got stuck in one of the anchors and I had to use a hoist to pull it out, hammer it apart and then drive it back in after cleaning and greasing it.”
