“My original canopy top lasted for 4 plus years and only had a few minor leaks. The buying and shipping experience was quick and painless, The replacement is a perfect fit.”
“I have been buying these canopies since 2007 to cover a new boat in March of that year. And they have lasted at least 8 - 10 months before they started to deteriorate. So it lasted through a season. Here it is 2023. Put the replacement cover # 17 up and.... low and behold. Started to tear at the peak at month 2 ever so slowly. I thought no big deal since the former covers have held past at least 8 - 10 months. But NOPE. Had a rain storm in Sept and it totally shredded. And that's when I put the new cover up in May. So that's 5 months that I paid over $225 for. I called for a warranty with pictures and description. The response was..... This is a temporary cover and the warranty does not cover acts of God. Soooooo. Put this up in a building because it can't stand the sun or rain. I've given up on Shelterlogic after 17 years. I'll buy a stronger tarp.”
Hello Gary,
We are very sorry to hear about this. Our warranty department does work hard to treat every claim fairly and consistently, which is why they did not approve of your claim due to it being an (Act of Nature), and Acts of nature are not cover under the manufacturer's warranty. Please note that this gazebo is not live load rated, and we recommend it to be anchored down and immediately remove any accumulated snow off the structure (if applicable). If you have any questions or wish to discuss this in more detail, please feel free to contact us at 1-800-560-8383.
Thank you
