“The replacement cover fit very well over the original framework. The original cover had deteriorated where it was exposed to sunlight and several holes and rips had developed. In order to protect the new cover I replaced the old back cover over the new one to give me double the thickness. I also reversed the top cover and mounted it over the new cover to shelter it from the sunlight and provide double the thickness. This was much less costly than purchasing the heavy duty cover.”

We are awfully sorry to see that you are unhappy with your cover. The standard cover does include a 1-year limited warranty, and if anything goes wrong within that time frame, we strongly suggest submitting a claim. Please know that fabric life is affected by the application, location, and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. If you live in an area that gets more sun exposure than most of the cover, along with exposure to other elements such as strong winds and snow (if applicable), it can also affect longevity. We do offer replacement cover kits in Standard, Heavy-Duty, and Ultra-Duty material. The heavier materials have a longer warranty and life expectancy which might better suit your needs.

“I installed the original Shelter last year. I was very impressed with the build quality. It held up very well thru the winter with some pretty good snow loads. This spring I was hit with golf ball sized hail that ripped holes in the cover, fortunately insurance paid for a new cover. I installed the new cover and it is new again. I love this Shelter Logic Garage it is the most affordable storage solution out there.”

“Good cover and fits well. Last about one or two years for the 7.5 oz. The heavy duty one are way overpriced. This one should be half the price for what it is. Shipping was fast. And this was cheaper price than other places I looked at. I also was a little disappointed that where the bottom bar goes through there was a lot more cut opens then there should have been(last cover did not have this issue.”
