Max AP™ Compact Canopy, 10 ft. x 10 ft. Reviews

4.7 Rating 22 Reviews
I've owned ShelterLogic canopies for over a decade. I love how sturdy they are, easy to assemble and practically maintenance free. BUT, I wish I could still get the SANDSTONE canopy for my 10x20 that ripped (Completely MY FAULT!!!). Love ShelterLogic.

Great Canopy. Covers my backyard patio year round. Live in North West and cover lasts around five years. i Just reorder cover. Frame work has lasted 12 years so far. I have added a couple pieces of plywood to under side and secured with plastic ties Due to snow . Highly recommend this Canopy.

I have purchased 2 of these , Holds up well for my 10x10 porch for several years. it's a shame that if something happens to the canopy like mine did during a tornado that you have to purchase a whole New Frame with it..The Frame held up Good , But you can't buy the Canopy alone ,,Well you can but it will cost the same as with the frame. Other than that we'll worth it..

The 10'x10' shelter is great but it would be better if you still offered replacement canopy instead of having to buy a whole new unit. I buy them for the local Humane Society for shade for volunteers and shelter dogs. Having to buy a whole new 10'x10' unit is expensive but I had no option. You no longer offer just a replacement canopy for the 10'x10'. Not sure what to do with my original frame?

It’s a great little shelter, but for my needs it either needs to be a little shorter or maybe make a half end for the front and back. The reason I say that is because where I have it set up. I placed it between my house and shop, so I could park my mobility scooter under it. Unfortunately the wind and rain blow from either the front or back. So that being said, a half end that goes from the peak of the top down to the top of the four legs. Other then that I think it was pretty easy to put up, and it’s pretty sturdy if it’s done right. I think the hardest thing was figuring out exactly which way the tri connectors go. One last item is don’t try to put it up by yourself, it takes at least two people to do it!

This is my third ShelterLogic 10x10 Canopy. I find the canopy drains properly if you keep the side overhangs pulled down as far as possible and release any captured water after a rainstorm the same way. The instructions are clear. The ball bunjees into gromments work very well. My only problem is that with the third canopy, only 2 instead of 4 gray rubber ground pads for the supporting poles were sent. Bummer! Not sure how to get replacements. Still I give a "5" rating because I have setup numerous tents and canopies and this seems the sturdiest with carefully manufactured parts. I agree with others who have said to assemble the top first, then put on the top part of the legs, then the bottom of the legs. One person can do this. I will return to ShelterLogic!
