Corral Shelter™ Livestock Shade 12 ft. x 12 ft. Reviews

Excellent Shelter. I have two. Easy to setup and withstood 75 mph winds during several rain storms. I very much like the product. I do wish they had not increased in price by $100 in a year. Everyone is price gouging..The horse people buying this aren't wealthy. Or they'd build something more permanent. The canvas material holds up well, but for one of my horses that gets bored and finds a loose thread. Now we have a shredded canvas despite using anti-chew products on it. This is a great solution to the shelter need for animals. But hey guys, lower the price.

1 person, 2.5 hours. No issues, easy instructions. My goats LOVE this! Just went through a few weeks of high winds here in Miami - didn’t budge. Shade and rain protection keeping my hay from getting ruined. Thanks Shelter Logic

Ordered two kits. The second one had some mismatched holes thst required a little drilling to get the bolts to go thru. One set was off enough that it was crooked. Fairly easy fix.

This purchase was our 9th Corral Shelter Livestock Shade (12x12') kit on our homestead. By far, this is the most useful and economical way to store firewood. A livestock shade as a firewood cover? Absolutely. They are easy to construct and are long lived. To utilize as a firewood cover, we raise the shelter on cinder blocks, then anchor down the frame to the ground and pallets inside the structure (you can't underdo the anchors...nobody likes to find their shelter in the next county over after a storm because they cheaped out on the anchors). We string 3 of them together in a row (overlapping the covers) to get long runs of uninterrupted cover for wood storage. With wood towers on the end to block the intrusion of snow, wind, and rain (and some have the optional extra end covers, like our kindling shelter), our wood is better protected than practically everyone else storing wood. We've found no better practical solution for firewood storage. With proper care (wash yearly with a mild soap and water; keep out of the sun as much as possible; repair if you get a hole to maintain the rest of the cover's integrity), the covers last even longer than what ShelterLogic quotes. We've even started covering our oldest shelters (8 years old) with their newer double thick shelter covers (the only reason we've had to change a cover out so far is from a terrible storm that drove huge branches through the shelter). Different color cover, but extremely durable. May be a very practical solution for livestock, but the very best for firewood storage for us!

I purchased this about 8 months ago and it has held up great. I'm now in need of the side and rear panels for this, but I can only find 10'x10'. I'll be very disappointed if there is not a 12'x12' set to go with this.
