“Bought 1 in 2021 and it was a great setup and awesome shelter. The weather took a toll on it in the 3years of owning it and the inside shelter bars that keep the shelter in its arch form wore through the tarp and and big wind tore the shelter tarp on the side that gets the most sun , looking for replacement tarp without buying the whole setup again”

“Easy to put up, I was very happy with it, where I live I take all tarps down for winter. I was very disappointed in the roof tarp. It did not last one season. We have very little wind, it is not triple degrees, I have no idea why it failed. I have searched for a replacement, since all my hardware is new I certainly don’t need that. Can not find one. So im onlydoing 3 stars. Needs to last longer than one season.”

We are awfully sorry to see that you are unhappy with your cover. Please know that fabric life is affected by the application, location, and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. If you live in an area that gets more sun exposure than most of the cover, along with exposure to other elements such as strong winds and snow (if applicable), it can also affect longevity. We do offer replacement cover kits in Standard, Heavy-Duty, and Ultra-Duty material. The heavier materials have a longer warranty and life expectancies which might better suit your needs. “I bought two in 2018. I put one together on panels for a pony and mini. Within 2 months a wind storm blew the whole thing (panels and all) about 50 feet away. Luckily the horses were not hurt. We did have this anchored down. Needless to say the three corral panels and the roof were still attached upside down. But it just wasn't attached to the ground anymore.
We decided to remove it from that field and just use it on the ground for mini's.
I've still to this day never built the 2nd one. I do plan to use it eventually on the ground for a different mini field.
I came on the site today to try to find the dimensions of the tarp so I can buy a replacement one locally and of course there isn't those measurements.”

“The anchoring / attachment system is unacceptable for horses. The ratchets and straps (6) and ground anchors offer ample opportunity for injury to horses. The tarp ripped for no apparent reason within 24 hours. To the credit of ShelterLogic, they are replacing the tarp. Assembly was not too difficult, it took two people less than 2 hours. As the corral panels and shelter top are sold separately, the total structure was over $1000. I could have built a better, safer horse shelter from lumber. This shelter has a use, just not for horses. I am moving it to our storage area to use there.”

“Purchased the 12 x 12 shelter cover and I am extremely disappointed. Catastrophic failure during a snow storm. It also bent one of my side panels. Poles snapped and were bent beyond repair. Thankfully my horses were in the barn during this incident. Based on the failure, I would say the material is cheap tubular steel that is inadequate for this type of shelter. I do not recommend this cover to anyone who values the safety of their animals. If I could attach pictures to this review I would in order to show / warn others of the risk. I have other shelters by a different company that held up very well in the same storm. Very disappointed!”
