“Initially the fabric looked very durable, however, after sitting in my yard for a little over a year, it's already wearing quite thin and even has small holes in it all over the place. So much for it lasting 10 years, I'll be lucky to get 2 or 3 out of it. Shed even sits in a very sheltered location in the yard, the biggest exposure being to the sun, which, it's rained an unbelievable amount this year.”

If you live in an area that gets more sun exposure than most of the cover, along with exposure to other elements such as strong winds and snow, it can also affect longevity. We do offer replacement cover kits in Standard, Heavy-Duty, and Ultra-Duty material. The heavier material fabric has a longer warranty and life expectancies, which might better suit your needs. “The original cover lasted a few years and then disintegrated. The replacement cover cost more than I paid for the shed originally and cost almost as much as buying another complete shed.
