Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We understand your frustration regarding the need to purchase the entire cover kit when you're only looking for the top cover. Please note that we do offer replacement cover by itself without the doors, however, it's only available if you decide to upgrade to a heavier grade material. The standard cover comes pre-packaged with the doors in a box and are Not sold separately, but as a Cover-Kit bundle. We offer (3) different grades of material being the 7.5. oz standard fabric, 14.5 oz Heavy-Duty PVC, and 21.5 oz Ultra Duty PVC material.

“I needed a new cover for my shed because mine ripped and fell apart. The design of the frame has a flaw in that the frame does not support the middle sections and the weight of the snow causes the fabric to rip. So before I installed the new cover. I built a couple light weight pieces to go between the frame and support the fabric in the middle. So the new cover will now last longer and hold up to the weight from the winter weather.”

“We originally purchased the shed as a temporary holding place for our overflow outdoor tools and mowers, plus kayak supplies as we renovated. That was a few years ago and it had with stood blistering heat and loads of wind. The hurricane took out the cover but the frame stood the test. “My son inherited the frame of a Shed-in-a- Box when he bought a house. He needed a place to store fire wood, so I ordered the replacement cover. The directions were a little sketchy and could be a little more detailed, but we got it done. It fit well and looks good.”

“I orded my replacement shed kit on a Wednesday, and by Saturday that same week it was on my front steps. Customer Service was excellent in helping me figure out with cover kit I needed for my shed. Because I couldn't find the part number stickers. Cover was a exact match to the original. In about 1 1/2 hrs I had the old one off and new one on. Definitely recommended this replacement if you need one.”
