Hi! I just got a chance to go down to look at the oil tank a few days ago, but couldn't find your mail so I didn't respond right away. I noticed that the clear tapes where the technician wrapped them around the pipes where the leaks are are not working. There is at least a streak of oil running down the side of the oil tank. I was pretty sure your technician cleaned streaks of oil on the tank the last time he came to repair the leaks, I think, in Novemeber. Now, the clear tapes are wrinkles and it looks like there are oil underneath them. I could feel some oil on the pipe below the clear tape. I don't think the pipes were repaired well enough by your technician.

Was charged over $250 for a technician to come out after the propane was delivered and our cellar reeked of propane gas. This is after I stuck with Shipley after the worst Christmas of my life last year when we had a leak outside they did not find and made me call a plumber only to find out that there was no leak inside. Ten days with no heat and frozen pipes. Will find a new provider.

It was disastrous!! The tank was full but driver still forces 9 gallons in tank causing it to overflow from my tank inside the basement. Possibly damaging my property and causing unnecessary maintenance. . My whole house smells like oil and my belongings were damaged and affected by the oil getting on to it. A clean up crew came out late move a lot of stuff around and throwing items away due to oil leak.

Not sure why my property was allowed to run out of oil when it is on automatic refill. This is actually not acceptable in my opinion !!!! Not a happy camper for sure

My overall experience with Shipley was very regretful.... One star for the service behind the tech!!!!! 1st: called on 8-31-23 to set an appointment with Ashley Roye for October 30, 2023 (2 MONTHS IN ADVANCE). I requested 1st appointment in the morning and requested tec "Wes". I have in an email from Ashley Roye that my request for 1st appointment in AM and Wes would be ok. 2nd: I waited until 9:30 am on October 30, 2023 for tech "Wes", I called and spoke to customer service "maybe the tech has an emergency call"......MAYBE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, this is my time and my money and excuses and guessing are unacceptable. Spoke with "the lead" of Customer Service, who said a "qualified tech would be there at 10:30 am. Again, unacceptable to have to TAKE WHATEVER SHIPLEY WANTS TO GIVE ME! I was also confused with "lead" of the Customer Service, every time i mentioned service tech "Wes", she stated "a qualified tech will be there at 10:30 am. This "lead" of the Customer Service knew "Wes" was not coming and I would be SURPRISED with another tech, this too is unacceptable to mislead a customer or play bate and switch when requesting a specific tech. 3rd: my system ran "great" before my $275.00 service, now when it first kicked on in the evening it SPUTTERS AND SPUTTERS AND SHOUTS OFF before finally working correctly, so I guess there will be another service call in my future to a "QUALIFIED SERVICE COMPANY"!!!! 4th: tech Steve was very nice, respectful and clean, overall did a good job cleaning the unit. He informed me the "bleed pin" to the oil filter was broken off (so unable to bleed the line at the oil tank). Wow...what a markup Shipley!!!!! in closing, I will think twice before calling Shipley for my service, even tho Steve was very nice, respectful and knew his job, I only give 1 star because of all the BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BUSINESS PRACTICES BEHIND THE SERVICE TECH, THIS IS NO REFLECTION ON STEVE OR THE QUALITY OF SERVICE HE PROVIDED, but I wish the bleed pin being broken would of been addressed and corrected or a solution offered to me!!!!
