“The technicians were reliable. Arranging to get an appointment for what we needed as well as wanted was nothing short of a nightmare, disaster, complete ineffective. I spoke with a customer service rep about 6 times, repeatedly stating what we needed. When the technicians arrived they performed specifically what we did not need — another check to find a leak —which had been done previously with no leak detected. They offered to do a more thorough leak check. I had to stop that from happening. In fact, they did not have enough time to do it anyway because they showed up with one half-hour of time to work. A complete nightmare because customer service dod not respond professionally to what I called in to have done. They scheduled what they wanted to do-a very costly as well as redundant unnecessary leak check. We need a new AC, which I asked about when speaking with customer service. They were insistent that we have a leak check first, and scheduled the appointment. I continued to call to clarify what we needed, repeatedly. The day before a service manager called, left a message for me to call back. I had no time to do so at work. Had customer service put me in touch with manager sooner the unnecessary appointment would have been avoided.”
“The servicing of our boiler seemed fine, but the technician didn't seat the gasket on the new filter on the oil tank and we had a leak that put a pool of oil on our floor. Shipley sent another technician who seated the gasket and cleaned the floor, but it was a long day and we still have an oil stain on the floor.”
“My furnace is still not working, after two separate tech visits. No one has contacted me regarding next steps to completing the job. I am extremely dissatisfied with communication, in general, and a thought out plan to get our situation resolved.”
“During an oil fill, I was informed that a whistler wasn't working, despite this never having happened in the past, so that the technician could not fill the second tank. After setting up a service call, the service technician informed me that it was functioning properly. I was charged a fee for oil tank repair ($123.21) and for clearing a fuel line blockage ($78.20). Much to my surprise was an additional charge for a combustion efficiency analysis ($119.85) that I did not request. This is upselling to the max. All this because the first technician may not have filled the tanks in the proper order to start with. It begets a question of competency versus selling of services. Very disappointing.”
“Did NOT have the parts to repair. This is the second time that it was worse, I had heat before they arrived and they had to shut things off overnight to get parts.”
“You ask me to rate a delivery when I have no information about that delivery. I used to get a copy of the delivery ticket via email, Haven;t gotten one during 2026. I don't know why. Sende me delivery information and I will give you a better rating.”
