“We have had no heat for 2 days and still can’t get a technician to come out to our house. 3 calls in one day and we are not priority after 8 years of being a customer.”
“I was to be called 30 minutes before arriving so I could be be there got there at 3pm ,called at 530 to to see if they were still coming I was told they will be there for sure today, called agian at 10.00 pm didn't think they work that late was told she will check to see what was going on and would let me know never got back to me I had been sitting most of the time in my car to keep warm because there was no heat in the house oil ran out my brother's house and I don't know anything about oil and was told they would have to start the furnace because of running out of oil ,called agian at 11pm and was told the oil had been delivered at 1130am that day and was never called and the 2 calls I made that day didn't check right I guess but the 3 person who was very helpful and apologic because I had sat in my car for 8 hours and was so afraid the water pipes would freeze ,got some to come out and start the furnace was not a good first time experience with oil heat Joy miller 717 676 9019”
“The driver was kind and personable. However, he did spill a small amount of oil on the ground (a few ounces) and he left the cap on my tank funnel loose. I tightened the cap myself.”
“Dude, I'm not very pleased on the so called tuneup that you performed. I have half a mind to contact your boss about it. If I knew how to get you back here, without their knowing, I would. I believe that you did the bare minimum of work. Later shipley.”
“Although the problem was known before the technician arrived (Haly / Shipley installed the fuel oil tank and gauge, which were the problem), he did not have a part or ability to replace it. Nothing was accomplished and the visit was not necessary. This was likely not the fault of the technician as he apparently was not fully informed about the problem”
“My maintenance plan calls for a furnace cleaning once a year. The technician did not clean the furnace stating it’s running close to max efficiency. Not certain that takes precedence over an actual cleaning of the parts of the furnace. Also technician attempted to fix a leak coming from relief valve in furnace. At first he said it was the tank collecting excess water. But in the end he replaced the relief valve. Within an hour of tech leaving water was coming out of relief valve again so problem was not fixed. That definitely brings into question his decision not to clean my furnace for the winter months.”
“The guys were friendly but they didn't wear foot coverings in the house. They didn't share any progress updates on the repairs even though they were in our house a long time. I made them aware of a mold issue on a panel door of our air handler but they didn't seem concerned. They said they would use some spray but spray seems like an easy, low cost option for Shipley Energy, not the best solution for me. I'm also giving a poor review because your service team is impossible to reach. When I call, I get long wait times and I'm unable to speak with anyone from service who knows about my account. I was told that a manager would call me but one never did. This shows that your leadership team doesn't care of the actual clients. I'm very disappointed in Shipley as the past few service calls have been unbelieveably bad. I plan to change HVAC providers in 2025.”
“The issue took 4 service calls to correct the issue. Inabilty to diagonous the problem. Requested return calls from supervisor which did not occur. Then on 11/27 the tech Sean URINARATED on our property. Inconceviable and unprofessional behavior which was on top of poor service.
30 year customer - ready to leave Shipply!!!!”
