The guys were friendly but they didn't wear foot coverings in the house. They didn't share any progress updates on the repairs even though they were in our house a long time. I made them aware of a mold issue on a panel door of our air handler but they didn't seem concerned. They said they would use some spray but spray seems like an easy, low cost option for Shipley Energy, not the best solution for me. I'm also giving a poor review because your service team is impossible to reach. When I call, I get long wait times and I'm unable to speak with anyone from service who knows about my account. I was told that a manager would call me but one never did. This shows that your leadership team doesn't care of the actual clients. I'm very disappointed in Shipley as the past few service calls have been unbelieveably bad. I plan to change HVAC providers in 2025.

The issue took 4 service calls to correct the issue. Inabilty to diagonous the problem. Requested return calls from supervisor which did not occur. Then on 11/27 the tech Sean URINARATED on our property. Inconceviable and unprofessional behavior which was on top of poor service. 30 year customer - ready to leave Shipply!!!!

1) 4 months the same problem continues. No heat and water in the oil tank.2) superior has yet to call back 3)Shipley does not provide suggestions on how to fix he problem. 4) Call system transferred me 3xs had to explain problem and identify home owner each time. Sean the tech- urinated on our property! Such a terrible level of ignorance and unprofessionalism How will the company address these problems- by the way we been a customer for 30 years. We need to hear from the owners about how they improve these major issues.

IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE A FILL UP. WE STILL HAD 6 TO 7 INCHES OF SPACE FROM THE TOP OF THE TANK LEFT.

Our recent furnace/winter tune up did not go well. The technician was unsuccessful getting our upstairs heat to work. He said his shift was over so he had to leave. He said the problem was likely the upstairs air handler but he said he never checked it. That night the upstairs air handler leaked a lot of water onto our attic floor which led a significant leak into our master bedroom. The long term damage to our dry wall is to be determined. Not good! The tech should have checked the upstairs unit or at least cautioned us to turn it off. He did neither. The service from Shipley has generally been poor the past 2-3 years. The techs seem to struggle with basic service, they communicate poorly, and return trips are often needed. Check my file from 2 summers ago where it took Shipley techs 2-3 attempts to change a filter. I have had to make too many follow up calls the past few years. I am not a happy customer.

Our last heating oil delivery for our 3,000 gallon UST was January 2024. We called for a heating oil delivery in October because we were down to 300 gallons in our tank. We had to call Shipley a second time for a delivery in Novemebr because we were down to 100 gallons and Shipley had NOT made a fuel delivery. Shipley states we are on automatic delivery. We do not understand how we can run out of heating oil when Shipley has us on automatic delivery??

I took the day off , Called early to make remind and sure the driver knew I was scheduled for maintenance as well as a fill , he never came but I got a bill emailed for over $700 ! calling to resolve it was a bigger nightmare with horrible rude , DUMB customer service. Lady huffing and puffing typing away as if I was a huge inconvenience. Just a ridiculous experience all around .

Instead of my usual weekly delivery during the winter months, I had two deliveries on a week that had average of 75° days. The second one for 15 gallons. I still had to pay the compliance fee despite the fact that they are only supposed to deliver once a week and had delivered twice during a warm week. Nobody has gotten back to me to explain why it were to let me know if that additional charge was going to be removed from my account.
