I want to protect my steering wheels, so I bought a cheap pair of gloves. However, they wore out quickly and I can't stand to look at them any longer. But then, I found a beautiful pair of quality leather gloves on the Gentleman's Gazette website and bought a pair. I was not disappointed. The pictures were true to the product, and these gloves look spectacular in person. I wore them out for a drive and instantly received a compliment from someone I know who spotted them through the windshield. They also feel great on hand, and the look is indescribably beautiful from the stitching to the blue and white contrast. If you're considering these gloves, I'd say go ahead and pull the trigger because these are stunning.

So I am a professional driver (I drive tractor trailers). I got the gloves to use while I drive and to help me stop biting my nails while I drive. I was nervous about the color and fit my hand is 8 1/4' and I bought size 8. It was snug the first 2-3 hours now they fit amazing! Usually other gloves at least 1 finger is too long or they are too short but these feel like they are made for my hands and the blue is a stunning color! The only issue I had is the first day and a half it left a blue stain on my finger tips. And the off white is getting a little dirty and I don't know the proper way to clean them! Everything about the box and paper they were wrapped in is high quality! And the gloves feel like they are paper thin once broken in! I love them! Now to talk the wife into letting me get a second color!

The pair I received is really nice: they fit my hands perfectly, the design is somptuous and original and they are very confortable. The leather very soft but it is a bit stiff : I am sure it will improve after wearing them a few times. here are my answers to the 3 questions: 1. My problem before I bought Fort Belvedere products was finding original, well designed, perfect quality and unique products. 2. What changed because of Fort Belvedere and your products is that now I am feeling much confortable in my clothes because of the way they make me look and because I love wearing this new pair of gloves I bought. 3. This new fabulous pair of driving gloves makes me think very confident and my friends love the design too and think they are really unique. I was already asked where I found them. Thank you very much for making me feel better and more confortable.

These gloves, like all Fort Belvedere gloves and products, are fantastic. At first, I was slightly afraid that they would be too small but they quickly revealed themselves to be a perfect and tight fit, excellent for a pair of unlined gloves. While I don't plan to do much driving in them, these promise to be an excellent addition to my wardrobe and I can't wait to bring them on an upcoming trip. Only reason for four stars not five is the presentation. The gloves came in a small size gift box, not the larger sized box that I have received my other pairs of gloves in and the gloves were folded over with no tissue paper or anything. The lack of tissue paper is more superficial, I don't hugely mind buying them for myself but if I had gotten these for someone as a gift, I would not want them to open the box as I received it. The fact that the gloves were folded, however, worried me. I opened the box as soon as it arrived and the gloves seem to be perfectly fine. If they had taken longer to ship or if I had gifted the gloves and not opened the box for a longer period of time, this could have been detrimental to the leather. Gentleman's Gazette videos actually warn against folding gloves at any time so I was disappointed to see them presented this way as packaging. A small gripe but a dampener on the excitement of opening one of those wonderful green gift boxes.

I bought a pair of Petrol Blue gloves for my son and a pair of British Racing Green for myself and they both look great. I've owned a number of pairs of driving gloves in my lifetime and I must say that these are the softest and best fitting gloves that I've worn. My son has a 73 MGB roadster that does not have power assisted steering so a good grip on the wheel is essential. Although we garage the car over winter he keeps it out late in the fall and has it back on the road as soon as the snow melts. Top down when ever physically possible (kids!!). The North Face fleece gloves that he was using are fine for throwing snowballs and shoveling walks but for non-assisted steering they were creating much more work than necessary and he was navigating sharp turns like my grandmother... with their superior grip these gloves allow him to drive the car like it was meant to be driven. I also picked up a pair of BR Green for myself that perfectly match my dark green Spyder... I don't need any help with the steering on the Spyder because she cuts like a scalpel any time of year but they do look so good together. I'm not sure how much manual labor such as scraping ice from the windows or filling the gas tank that I'll do with these gloves on, at a buck sixty a pair I may consider hiring a man servant before putting these beauties to task, but as a pure driving glove these are top shelf. ~ryan

I received these gloves as a gift. The stitching, while pretty, unraveled at the joint of the thumb and hand. The thread or string used to stitch the gloves together certainly hasn't lasted. It split at the finger tip and between two fingers on one of the gloves. Overall, while they are attractive, they do not hold up to regular use that my other gloves have and, as such, are absolutely not worth the price.

I bought two pairs of these wonderful gloves and they are awesome! Did a fair bit of driving with them so far and even in the hot weather the gloves stay cool and grippy. I wish I could post pics. I am super happy with both pairs!! Love them!!
