My car was broken into and one of my driving gloves was stolen (the other one was overlooked) so I was in the market for a new pair of driving gloves. The leather is very soft and I like the color. I have received several compliments on them, in fact. The size is not what I'm used to; they're very tight. It makes sense because I shouldn't have to worry about glove bunching up around my fingers but it will take some getting used to. I do see a torn thread on the base of the one glove though which was disappointing. I only noticed it after I tried them on, so I knew I couldn't return them. Another point that I will have to get used to is the insert for touch screen capability. The Gentlemen Gazette rightly explained that one of the reasons that driving gloves have the seems on outside is because the seems will put strain on your fingers and it'll be uncomfortable. So, after I tried these gloves on, I turned one of the gloves inside out to see what it was because there was a noticeable difference between the other fingers. To my surprise there was the addition piece of leather sewed into the inside of the gloves. After some thought, it makes sense because cars have touch screens on them so you need which tempered the disappointment. I've had gloves that have an insert for smart phones and it turns out to be generally an uncomfortable gimmick, so we'll see how it turns out. My first pair of driving gloves got a hole in the finger within a year, and the second started to wear at the finger tips after about a year as well. So, despite my initial apprehension (with the slight imperfection, strange but supposedly correct fit, and touch-screen fingers), I am looking forward to seeing how these gloves hold up.

I grow up using gloves my parents buy from The Bay or sometimes even Walmart. Being a child of course, I will never complain, and grab anything that keeps me warm. However, instinctively, I knew that the "upper classes" must be using something that feels much much better, for they wear their gloves all the time. All the puzzles were resolved when I tried on Fort Belvedere's gloves. The comfort, craftsmanship, and style all emanate from the two pairs of gloves I received. It even gotten to the point that I have to compulsively get rid of the "unworthy" Walmart gloves I used for many years. New owners of Fort Belvedere gloves should be aware of three things: 1. If you are used to cheap gloves, these gloves will feel cheap in the beginning (i.e. thin, light weight, doesn't smell of "normal leather"). However, your perception of what should a good pair of gloves be will be changed after you wear these gloves for more than five times 2. Despite of you able to fit your hand in, you will initially feel really tight. Remember not to over stretch, let your normal finger movements do the work and you will see the glove fit into you. (However, the wrist part of the driving glove needs me to physically pull it down in order to achieve a better fit) 3. Do try unlined gloves, especially during Fall/Winter, before you need heavy protection. People do notice you more, and the thing that Ralph didn't mention is that these gloves works on any touch screens, so while driving, I never leave any finger prints inside of my car!!! (I think that ought to be a selling point for people who's got gloss car interiors.) Over all, you should try gloves from Fort Belvedere at least once. It will make your more comfortable and stylish at the same time. I would personally buy more colors and materials to try out, but let's see how the weather turns out.

Hi, Tomas! I'm sorry to hear that it hasn't arrived yet. It seems that you have chosen USPS as your shipping method. Unfortunately, it doesn't include a tracking number so once it's shipped out, we no longer have information about them unless USPS reaches out to us. Sometimes it takes more than 8 weeks to arrive. Hopefully it arrives soon! :)

Although advertised as driving gloves, these gloves are not limited to driving at all. When paired with the correct sports coats (olive) and cap (checked khaki), they can be a great accent piece on the fall outfit. These gloves give me an intermediate ground between full on formal (like the suede line from Fort Belvedere) and full on casual (like many knit gloves out there). Loving it!

Very soft, very well made. I like these better than my hand sewn deer skins because the leather is thinner and more supple which yields a much better feel to the wheel and the road.
