“The tour over all was excellent and was a pleasure. This was our fourth tour with Smartours and will do another one in the near future. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and supportive. The problem I had was my luggage was broken and I would like to know how I am going to be compensated.”

“The combination of cruise & land gave an amazing full look at so much of Greece. It is a jam-packed trip but you get to see so many different things and places. With their weakened economy and the Euro being equal to our dollar, Greece is now very affordable. The knowledge & quality of both the tour directors and the local guides were above and beyond. It's called Spectacular Greece for all the right reasons - a fabulous destination!”

“An excellent trip for those who enjoy beautiful scenery, important history, cool blue seas and splendid locations. A tolerance for heat and an appreciation for walking would be useful. Our tour guides were fantastic, knowledgeable and considerate. The hotels were superb and very friendly. I would happily return to any of them.”

“Just returned from a fantastic 10-day tour of Greece and the Greek Islands. Smartours did an amazing job of coordinating an informative journey throughout Greece, which included a 4-day cruise to the Greek Islands. Our group (28 people) was guided by Gina Angelopoulou, who went above an beyond to ensure that we got the most out of our visit. Gina pulled us together as a group of strangers who quickly became traveling friends. Her extra care to make sure we were all safe and secure (especially during COVID) was fantastic. The sites and experiences we had over ten days will be with me forever. The hotels were fantastic, meals were at great restaurants, daily history lessons, historical site visits, relaxation time. The land tour of Greece was equally amazing, and we were fortunate to have Marina as our guide. She is a walking encyclopedia. This was my first time traveling with a tour group and I would highly recommend this visit to anyone who is interested in visiting this wonderful country.”

“What an amazing trip. I took over 500 photos and posted a few. Gina, our tour guide (her picture is posted) was amazing. She was informative and professional but more importantly she knew us all by name and was invested in our experience while on the trip and our safety. This was my first Smartours trip but would not hesitate to take another with them. The cruise, to the islands, was amazing but you had to get up early as you visited 2 islands per day. Also, if you are used to cruising on bigger ships (I cruise NCL a lot) this is a smaller ship without all the activities. Still loved it! We had 28 people on our trip made up of couples and families. We bonded well and put together a Facebook group so she can keep in touch with each other. We ate, drank, & talked as if we knew each other for years. So lucky to have meshed so quickly and well! Again, Smartours took care of everything and I’d recommend this particular trip to anyone looking forward to seeing Greece and learn about its ancient history!”
