“The only positive thing is the view you get with this goggle, but the inside lens get a weird distortion coat after only a few days of use. Imposible to clean the inside of the lens. Smith should have a recall of all the 4 d mag lens. . This has happen to all my colleagues at work, we get this goggles issued at work.

“After going through Oakley, Spy, Scott, we have finally found our go-to goggles with Smith. 4D provides great range of visibility. Chrompop has always given us the most detailed read on terrain.
The only problem we had was some lenses we received had some issues with sealant. Moist tended to get between and snuck into the inner, causing lens. Then again, our IO mag XL did not have the issue as much.
However, SMITH takes care of the customers so well. I have never had a company that has such an exceptional customer service. We had the defective ones replaced as soon as we contacted their customer service team.
I wish I could give a 5-star to the product but it is an issue when we have to wait to get it replaced.

“Purchased to replace my original lens which is scratched after so much use. My goggles are like new now with the replacements. Perfect cloudy to sunny lens, which I only swap out when the snowfall is super heavy.”

“The goggles are great. The issue I ran into was that the low-light lens had a terrible smell like burnt plastic immediately out of the box. When the lens was exposed to cold temps it became almost impossible to see through. Smith handled through their warranty.
Unfortunately, the lens was unavailable online from March until August. When it finally became available I paid (yes, I had to pay for shipping to have a defective lens replaced after it was approved through warranty) the additional expedited shipping fee. Unfortunately, Smith did not even ship the lens until the initial anticipated delivery date. The replacement lens missed the expected delivery window, and I left to go to South America without my $400 goggles' low-light lens.
Two calls into customer service proved unfruitful as panic set in knowing that my South America trip was coming up after months of checking online for replacement lens. As a side note, I signed up to be "notified" when the lens was available online again, and was never notified.”

“The rose tint was amazing. It helped a lot even on foggy days and was very clear. It was a very good alternative from dark lens. Which is great for sunny days, but once the clouds roll in the rose was the way to go and kept me snowboarding the rest of the day.”
