“This was a crash replacement for another Smith helmet (an Engage). I really like the fit and security of the harness. So far it breathes really well, which was a worry of mine with all the added honeycomb. I like the style of the lid, aside from it being all black. Very happy with the crash replacement process for the old helmet, but I do miss that beautiful orange.”
“This was a replacement helmet for another one that I had an issue with. It seems like for 2024 that they updated the plastic connection point for the Y-Strap that goes around the ears. It's no-longer adjustable. So, if it's anywhere near your ear lobe, it's going to rub, and it's going to drive you crazy. I've owned a ton of helmets since the 80's and you could always adjust this point on them at least a small amount. The lack of adjustment to accommodate different heads/ears is the weak point on an otherwise great helmet. My ears aren't even that large, so it's definitely going to be an annoyance to many others once they start buying it.”

“Fits just like my old one that was broken in a wreck and protected my head perfectly. Hated the fact it broke. Had it for years and was the best helmet I had ever owned. This is nearly the same helmet except this one has the mips liner. Should protect me even better than the old one. Hope I don’t ever have to test it like I finally did with my old helmet.”

“Aside from fit and style (and great colours), this helmet really shines when you need it most, which is rarely if you're lucky. I've had concussions so I spare no expense for head protection, and the few dings I've had wearing Forefronts always made me thankful I had one on.”
