“Overall it’s a solid helmet. The mips integration physically feels a bit cheap. The helmet construction otherwise seems to be top notch. I love the visor presets where it simply clicks into place. It feels like it won’t flip around while riding. For me personally, the connection is lacking in the helmet fit. I am typically a medium in helmets, but with the forefront I was getting pressure points at my temples that felt as though it would lead to headaches on a normal length ride. I had to opt for the large, which immediately feels a little too large, but I was able to cinch it down to where it would fit. Unfortunately there are only three adjustment clicks remaining, so I worry that with a haircut the helmet may become unusable.”

“Second purchase of this great helmet. I forget I’m wearing it and that is how much I want to be thinking about my helmet when I’m on the trail. The only way I think Smith could improve it would be with a magnetic clasp on the chin strap.”
