“My wife crashed last year, off a jump, and broke 10 vertebrae and 9 ribs. Lucky to be alive and not paralyzed. Amazingly she did not suffer a concussion in this pile driver face plant. She was wearing a Smith Forefront helmet, which ended up with a big flat spot on the top. She is back riding, enjoying the good looks and comfort of her new Forefront II helmet, while avoiding wooden features.”

“Love the look of the helmet, and when you first put it on it feels really comfortable. Unfortunately for me, there are 2 pressure points on the top of the forehead that start causing headaches after about 20 min of riding. I spoke to a friend with the same helmet, and they have the same problem. So that’s a definite disappointment because all the other features are great... ventilation, style, and I love that bees/bugs can’t fly in through the vents. The features for tightening the helmet are easy and quick to adjust.”

“Loving this helmet. I had the original version, and the newer design is more robust. The visor was a weak point in the past, but the Forefront 2’s visor is perfect. Fit is great, and the new padding system is perfect for me. I sweat a lot when riding. I’m glad that the new pads rinse out well with no odour. The colours match my bike well too. Perfect helmet in my opinion.”

“The helmet is great! Plenty of adjustability and fits without feeling loose. The clips for the helmet strap are not very tight when closing and constantly have to adjust them. Also there looks like it should be an accessory available for the top of the helmet (GoPro or light mount) but no information on that. I even sent Smith an email asking about it but haven’t heard back from them. Overall, great helmet!”
