“I like this helmet a lot! It is very different then the Bell Super 2 I had before. It fits my head way better. With a bit of adjustment to the back strap It felt super secure and comfy. It fits my Attack Max glasses very well too, I just slide them in upside down below the visor. The back adjustment piece is very minimal which is nice for comfort but I am interested to see how it holds up long term. Overall I feel cool and look cool so I find myself nuking down the trails a lot faster with this helmet on. Thanks Smith. Also shipped like super freaking fast.”

“I had the original version since 2016. Went to upgrade this year and ordered four versions that are similar from other brands as well to fit test at home. The smith won yet again for the following reasons.
- back of head protection (especially compared to fox pro frame)
- low profile visor (some other brands make you look like a bird!)
- Quality of construction
- fit and feel
Also, this was the most expensive of the options and that part was a bit hard to swallow but it’s worth it in my opinion- it’s protection for my noggin!”

“This is my 2nd Forefront. I had the original which required replacement after an...um...unfortunate incident. I love the fit and feel of the Forefront 2. It's even better than the original. Fits true to size, and if sized accurately it's snug and comfortable. The visor has a much more stable and overall better connection/integration into the helmet which is a vast improvement over the original. The Forefront 2 is also light enough and has well designed/sufficient ventilation such that you don't really feel like you're wearing a helmet. Could use a bit more padding on the inside where the helmet makes contacts your head as the plastic is a bit stiff and sharp (if you're...Follicle challenged...such as myself) which is the sole reason this is not a 5 star review. All around an improvement on the original Forefront.”
“Been wearing the forefront since they released it. The forefront 2 is an improvement on the first. Fit is great and the functionality of it is awesome. I’ve had a few and have had to retire them due to crashes. My brain is thankful for the MIPS for sure. Great product great company.”

“Formost, Safety, the MIPS. Also light wieght and confortable to wear. I also have a Smith MIPS ski helmet, same thing safety, light wieght and conforable. I am have been a member of a local MRA SAR team for over 50 years.”
