“Everyone raved how comfortable this helmet was, but my head shape must not fit it. I am between sizes, so went small, mainly because my previous Session was a small and it fit perfect, but the small has bad pressure points on the back where the adjustment dial is. Should have bought a medium. I didn't go back to the Session as the large vent in the top caused sunburns on my scalp everytime I wore it.”

“I just bought this to replace my 3 year old Forefront which I really like, but some flaws. The new Forefront 2 fixed those flaws with a solid connection for the brim. 3 different settings for the brim, better location of straps on the ears so you can use airpods without them getting knocked out and just a better fit overall. Great job Smith for making a great product even better!”

“The fit seems good, it is comfortable and light wt. seems to have plenty of air flow.
I’m satisfied with it. I don’t like the buttons inside the shell/liner that get caught in my hair and pull! Hopeful that can be resolved in the next model.”

“I wear a lot of helmets throughout the year skiing, mountain biking and rock climbing so have some helmet experience. The Forefront 2 fits perfectly on my head. It stays put with no sliding around. I have no pressure points. I am not even aware it's on. The helmet ventelates really well a lot cooler than my old one. My first experience with an adjustable visor and would not want a mountain bike helmet without one. From past experience I would never wear a helmet without the mips system. For the record I wear a large and have a round head shape which is difficult to fit. Recommend this helmet.”
