“This is the third Forefront helmet I have owned. This Forefront 2 has better ventilation with some larger open cavities versus being completely covered with the outer shell. The fit is adjustable with three locations to move the fit system around on. The quality and appearance of the helmet is top notch as always and you cannot beat Smith's warranty program. I purchased the Session helmet, which has a smaller profile, for my wife.”
“Excellent product. Happy with the fit, weight , adjustability and color. Purchased MIPS version, and helmet provides good overall protection. Rides a little low in front at times so provided 4 stars instead of 5.”

“I purchased the Forefront 2 women's Mtn bike helmet. Love the colors, the fit is awesome. I have a small head and Smith helmets are one of the only ones that truly fit my head.”

“Riding and racing bikes for over 30yrs, I’ve seen alotta changes and development in the industry. I have also owned alotta helmets. This is one thought out helmet, from the large and well place vents to the improved (over the original Forefront) longer visor and the rear cradle speed adjustment fit. The Kroyd and MIPS tech is great peace of mind and actually prevents hail and bees from entering my lid. The center vent cutout mates perfect with my Osprey pack that allows me to pack my lid for our long Colorado climbs. The color blends well with the desert redrock and the quality ‘eyeware ports’ are stellar for storing my Smith MTB Attack eyewear. If you want the best, look no further.”

“Very comfortable and secure. I just did a 2 week gravel bikepacking trip with it and it performed phenomenally. Only thing is I wish it was a bit lighter”

“Loving the new helmet. however, I found out a down side to the large holes in front and on top. I have had sharp branches enter the helmet and cut my scalp and worse, was when a bug came right in the big hole making me stop to clear it out. It was a very angry bee! Lucky I did not get stung and crash (worst case).”
