“These are the best ear plugs I've used but I don't have much to compare them with since I've only ever used the basic foam ones before that cut out everything and muffle the sound. The lever on the top side is more useful than I thought and I use it all the time. It allows me to go from a high level of protection where the sound is more muffled to a lower level of protection when I can hear the detail in conversation and music at loud gigs. As a sound engineer being able to hear the detail is important but sometimes, for example when you have to move closer to the speakers for any reason, being able to highly attenuate the volume is a real blessing.
I use mine almost exclusively in a dark environment and the R and L cannot be seen so I've just added a bit of tape on the cord next to the right ear bud so I'm not guessing which one goes in each ear.
They look cool in the ears and the cord that links them together and the magnetic back is a very good idea. I was scared that I may easily lose them but I've used them on about 30 gigs and so far so good.
I have swapped back and forth between the medium and large memory foam inserts and not bothered with the many others which have been provided as they do not seal in the ear as well.
They are comfortable to wear for extended periods of time which is important in my line of work. No more ringing ears at the end of a concert and no more having to keep taking them out to hear the music.
I would recommend them if you have the money, need the ability to hear detail whilst still protecting your ears and like to be able to adjust the volume of each ear independently. If you just want to drown out the sound of power tools or want a good night sleep next to a partner that snores then just go for the cheap foam ones.”

“Bit uncomfy at first, but ears are now used to them. Already have hearing damage because i was a fool, but these earplugs are a god-sent!!!! Use them for djing, and i can mix with them in.
