Minuendo adjustable earplugs Reviews

My minuendos showed up quickly and I love them. I use them music practice and I can hear everything much clearer than with any other ear protection I have tried. They also work great on my commute to work. My car is very noisy, lots of wind noise and road rumble. It makes listening to music difficult to hear without cranking up the volume. With my minuendos, all the car noise is subdued and I can hear the music.

I love my earplugs. I could adjust my earplugs by who or where I sit in an orchestra pit.

My friend recommended these to me. He tours constantly and wholeheartedly vouched for them. Excited, I purchased a pair. I have used them on two shows and perhaps i haven’t yet found the correct tip, because I am not noticing a change when I use the switch. It just seems generally muffled. I hope to resolve this because I must be missing something.

The actual level reducing part is brilliant….struggling to find an earpiece that is comfortable, must just be my ears…I’ve had this problem before with other ear plugs. Any suggestions? Cheers Dave.

I thought the etymonics earplugs were the best you could get, even though there was still some fogginess in my ears after shows. These earplugs are on another level. You put them on and you’re like wow I can hear everything. Then after the show, no ringing, no fogginess, just normal hearing. Definitely one of the best recent purchases I’ve made.

Brilliant! After testing them at a show recently, I can confirm they do exactly as advertised. All the bass and treble frequencies were still there, just at a lower volume. They attenuated everything wonderfully while allowing me to continue hearing each element of the band I was watching, which included two guitars, bass, all drums & cymbals, and multiple vocal tracks. High trebles were rolled off nicely, and the roar of cheering and applause at the end of a song/the show did not become an indistinguishable mash of frequencies, which I find cause me more problems than some production volume outputs. A nice bonus was that I was able to hear my friends talking to me quite clearly when close by. I found it does affect your perception of the volume of your own voice, though; as these earplugs are in your ear, and in your ear, I find it means that you hear your voice loudly. But in reality, you might not be speaking as loud as you think. Hardly a dealbreaker though! Get some, and save your hearing!
