The buying process is incredibly straightforward, and the end product punches way above its price point.

I use this sword for my daily training forms, and it is an absolute workhorse. It’s light enough that my wrists don't fatigue after an hour of drills, but it feels incredibly sturdy. It’s great having a reliable, high-performance blade that I'm not afraid to actually use.

I upgraded my blade to the clay-tempered version for a bit more money, and it’s still the best value I’ve found. The wave pattern on the steel is gorgeous. It feels like a piece of art that I’m actually allowed to use.

I love that swordis simplified the process of customization. I didn't have to be an expert to get a great sword. I ended up with a professional-grade blade that looks and feels amazing.

The first thing I noticed was the balance. It doesn't feel tip-heavy or clunky. It’s very easy to swing and stops exactly where you want it to. Plus, it came sharp enough to handle paper-cutting tests right out of the shipping box

The blade looks amazing, the Hammon is exquisite. But heads up on the tsuba, it’s a lot smaller than I was expecting, esp for a katana. The sheath feels on the cheaper side, but the wrap is tight diamonds straight and uniform, has a great balance. If I could do it over though I’d email them and ask for dimensions on the tsuba and blade dimensions. Probably spend a little more and just do the pro series.

I don't usually write reviews but I hope this gives an idea of what to expect. This custom katana was an impulse buy after I've been playing around with the custom builder for months. This time I finally hit the checkout option. I've looked at swords with similar features like steel type used (tamahagane) and blade shape (hira zukuri) and all that and in the end, the price was comparable if not more than a custom katana. I have spent months on researching during my free time and. the video testimonials on the website has helped me a lot in deciding. It took a while for my katana to arrive but I was very happy with the result. The quality is better than any of the 13 katana I have and costs about 500 less than the most expensive one.
