“Patrice and Josh are extremely gracious hosts! For a few weeks leading up to the trip, they were super responsive to our questions the entire time, and then on the day of our arrival, they were extremely considerate - getting our campsite ready and making themselves available to welcome us & show us around. The campsite is clean, private and perfect for a large group (we had 9 people in our group). It's equipped with everything you need for meal prep, grilling, sleeping and sitting around the campfire. The campsite is a quick walk from the driveway / parking, where the barn & fridge are also located - which was very convenient. We also loved interacting with the farm animals briefly as we parked our car and walked over to the campsite. We all had a blast & would absolutely love to come back if we have the opportunity!!”
“It was a wet but wonderful time. The rain came down on and off during our whole visit at little woods farm so everything was very damp. Good news, the tent did not leak. Better news, the rain created a rainbow that we saw across the valley view from our site, and on our final night we were treated to a private show of the local fireworks through the silhouetted trees! Amazing.
Little Woods Farm is an enchanted homestead set on the edge of a fern and moss covered forest woven through with knee-high rock walls. The site is nestled in the woods with a view across the green valley. You can hear the hushed sounds of the road below at first, but mostly you hear the chorus of birds and the staccato thumping of the woodpecker. Patrice and Josh are thoughtful and considerate hosts willing to assist where ever needed. I highly recommend a stay at this sweet private tentrr site. ( be aware you will need to walk in to the site about 5 minutes from your car so pack to carry) You won't regret it.”
“This campsite was so lovely! it felt completely secluded, but also just a 5 minute walk from the car to bring things over! The hosts were so lovely, welcoming us onto their property and supplying us with fresh farm eggs , firewood, grill crate, and even a s'mores packet. Josh even helped carry the items from the car to the campsite (so unnecessary)! Overall, I would highly recommend staying here and will try to return.”
“Wish we had more time! Loved Little Woods Farm. We arrived late on Saturday night due to car trouble, but Josh and his daughter were nice enough to guide us back to the site. We really enjoyed the time he had and would love to come back!

“My husband and I had a wonderful time at Little Woods Farm. It a had a perfect balance of woods and farm. Their farm store had fresh eggs that were great. Josh, Patricia, their children, and barn animals were amazing. Their dog Cooper and their kitties were so adorable as well. It was a great experience.”

We really enjoyed having a classic camping experience, with lakes and good lunch spots and a really perfect farmer's market in Callicoon just steps away. The site was well-kept, the fire was roaring, and the company was good. We would definitely come back, especially for the fresh eggs!”
“Romantic spot with a great view. The tents could have been a tad cleaner (cobwebs in the canvas tent and the popup had some soil in it), but the Tanners were extremely responsive and helpful before we even arrived. They lent us their very own air mattresses for our kids and provided us with sheets on the queen bed. They also gave us a great recommendation for a place to eat.”
“We had a great time. The hosts were very welcoming and their hospitality was amazing. The tent is about a 5 min walk from the main house where the hosts live. Plus they have a farm store which has a few things that you might forget that way you don’t have to go off far if you don’t have something.”
