“Showed up late night Friday from NYC and stayed until Sunday. Josh was outside waiting to give us a literal lay of the land as well as provide everything we needed (most stuff was already at the site waiting!)
You'll walk from the main house/driveway area down a path next to the farm animals, which leads you to an opening into the woods with a very clear path to the Tentrr site. It's about a 5 minute walk, and it's VERY secluded (a good thing, duh)! With many trails to bike/hike nearby, you have the freedom to just lounge by the fire at the site all weekend or hop in the car and explore this amazing area of NY. You can gather your own wood if you don't mind putting in a little work OR just tell Josh/Patrice & they'll have it ready for you on arrival ($5 a bundle). We even got the opp to choose from a few really great steaks Josh had pulled for us to cook over the campfire. They had a barn next to the main house that you can use to store food/beer so everything stays fresh and you don't have to worry about storing food at the site.
The site itself is big enough for multiple tents in addition to the Tentrr tent that's already setup. There were only two of us but you could easily fit 10-15 people back there!
Overall, we had a really wonderful time and will 100% be coming back to see Little Woods and enjoy the amazing property that the Tanner fam (Cooper too!) has made available. Thank you guys again!”
“Awesome experience! The hosts are a beautiful family of 6 that were so warm and kind throughout the whole experience. We had lots of opportunities to interact with all of the well-kept animals (goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, turkeys and more). The campsite itself is deep in the woods so it was great to have both experiences (woods & farm) in one trip. Perfect for our family of 4 (2 and 5 year old kids)”
“We had an amazing time! A really unique site- you get to see their farm animals and then walk back to your secluded campsite in the woods! There is plenty of land and the site has a beautiful view for sunrise! The family is friendly too, and they can help you with anything you may need :)”
“Myself and three friends stayed here for two nights and it was fantastic! It rained off and on while we were there, but we all still had a great time. The Tentrr tent can comfortably hold 4 adults, so we ran the heater/stove and played some games. The farm animals were my personal highlight. Chickens, goats, sheep, cats and a very friendly dog. The owners and their kids were very kind and welcomed after seeing the same people on end for days ;) They also sent a list of local places to see and eat, which was very helpful. If you're looking for a little getaway, I highly suggest it.”
“We had a great time at the little woods farm! Patricia was very helpful in explaining everything. They have a farm store where you can purchase things you may need. We didn't get no visit at night. We just heard the animals which was nice. Overall our stay was wonderful. Planning to come back with my parents next year.”
“Great camp site! It's a working farm with fresh eggs, chickens, turkeys, and a good bit of land. The campsite is tucked away, off the main road. The setup is perfect - beautiful canvas tent, good firepit, picnic table area. It's also nearby Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center, the Delaware River, lakes, and hiking trails. Highly recommend for a weekend out of the city!”
