“Rita improved her already outstanding camp site with some new additions since we last visited. One new memorable addition was a box of fish food pellets to feed the fish of the Hudson river. In calm waters, the fish swam up near the surface and gobbled up the pellets, some small, a few big ones! My seven year old daughter had such a great time, we will come back here again!”

“This is an amazing place to camp! The ride down is definitely a little scary if you don’t have a 4x4 AWD vehicle. The Host Rita is great! She’s very friendly and showed us around. The views are amazing and so calming. Definitely a go to for a family or romantic getaway.
The place is great with amazing views. However, don’t forget to bring enough food, bc there’s literally no place to get it unless you want to go to town and that’s not fun if you’re trying to camp. although I recommend the gram slam. For all the wood and ice you want. The toilet is up a steep hill so that was tough but we had fun with it. We brought a lot more things then we needed bc we didn’t think they would be there. However, Rita is great and there’s a lot of things there you wouldn’t even think you need that she already had for us to use. If you’re traveling with family I recommend to bring some family games. You can’t beat this place our family loved it and God willing we will be back.”
