“Our 2-night stay with the Stockman’s was one of the best Tentrr experiences we have had to date. The facilities are well set up and maintained; the camp itself private and secluded among the trees; with the cherry on the top being the picture-perfect picnic area next to the pond and the numerous hiking trails directly from the property itself. Jim and Patty are amazing hosts: friendly and very responsive. They certainly have a gem on their hands, and we cannot wait to return some day!”

We had a wonderful time at Lava Rock. The site is fantastic and the added convenience of a propane heated shower, composting toilet and screened gazebo for the picnic table made this above and beyond a Tentrr Signature experience. The care and love you have put into the land with the addition of the pond and the large meadow was perfect for us and our two dogs. We will definitely come back in the summer when we can take full advantage of the pond, boat and raft. Having hiking trails right outside the door of our tent was also super convenient, there was no need to drive anywhere which kept us out of all the leaf peeping traffic. “We had a lovely stay at Lava Rock! Lots of upgraded amenities and beautiful woodwork. The propane heater is awesome for fall camping. The sturdy fire grate made cooking over the fire feasible. Remember to bring lanterns, linens, and a camping stove (if you have one). Feed the trout, go for a hike, and explore Lake Winnipesaukee.”
