Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“If you’re ready to get away from it all and camp in comfortable, beautiful conditions, this is the place for you. Didn’t see another person or car (just a few deer) the whole time we were there!”
“The tent was perfect and Sue was a great host! The tent was clean and had everything we needed. Sue was helpful and responsive. We had a wonderful time. We would definitely go back!”
“WOW. Idyllic. Your own piece of paradise. I don't have enough words to say how beautiful it is. Looking at the stars and fireflies at night was amazing. We live in NYC and were looking for tranquility and we got it! The site is way into the woods with the ultimate privacy. Sue was not intrusive at all. We didn't see her the entire trip but she seemed open to questions!
Comes with typical Tentrr kit but I would bring your own cooking tongs and pans and the like, depending on what you want to cook. Bring blankets! The last night we were there it was teeth chattering cold and those tents do not insulate!
The area is absolutely great. We went to the highest point in NJ (High Point state park I believe) and did some hiking. There is an Appalachian Trail hike we didn't get to do but seemed nice.
We had our daughter with us and we found lots of cute things to do outside of the campsite. There's a DRIVE IN (all caps because it was a lovely experience) twenty minutes away. We also went to an old mining museum called Sterling Mills and our 10 year old enjoyed panning for gems (we even went twice!). There is also a Wild West City where cowboys walk around and you can do things like a stagecoach ride and there are shows. A little further off is a really cute mini golf and arcade. We found it was a great area for kids. We didn't get to try the breweries or anything but I am sure they are great!
But the actual campsite......so beautiful!!!!!! It was just the perfect mini break for us.”
“Staying here was a great experience. Sue was responsive and friendly, and the site was well maintained and as pictured. Good hiking and breweries nearby as well.”
“It was overall a good experience, although note that all the photos are staged Tentrr photos. It is camping and all you're getting is a tent on a platform, lifted air mattress, two chairs, a toilet box, and maybe a stove. It's basically car camping without needing a tent or chairs, and if your place has the stove then it can be pretty warm even in the late fall.”
“It rained our entire stay, but we made the best of it! The tent kept us nice and cozy with the wood stove. Location is beautiful, and Sue was wonderful! Will be coming back again.”
