Ok where to begin...I'll start by saying the below reviews must be fake. We didn't even stay our entire booked time period. First, the host doesn't respond to either email or calls. We tried to contact him a week prior to our stay in order to see where the designated water station was and if we should bring bedding since the photos showed the bed completely made. Radio silence. Second, this place is borderline impossible to find. We drove to the provided address and there was no marked entrance, nothing to indicate there was a Tentrr. It was only until we drove a bit back from where we came that was saw a TINY sign (it was literally 3"x5") nailed to a tree. You will absolutely miss it if you aren't looking at the right spot. From there, it's a very bumpy ride uphill and through grass and forested areas to get to the site. Also note you'll be driving on an unmarked "road" for around a mile. The road forks and there is nothing telling you which way to go. My boyfriend and I only found it by pure chance. We were so unsure of where we were going that we almost turned back until we decided to just drive a bit further up where we found the campsite. Third, the tent itself is just awful. It is very dirty and clearly there was no regular upkeep. My boyfriend and I are not picky people but we both agreed this place was a mess. The tentrr loo was haphazardly thrown off to the side of the tent and when I opened the lid, it was giant spider city. There are spiders and bugs everywhere which is to be expected, but just be prepared. The sun shower that was provided was moldy, disgusting, and there was hair all over the spout. There were also no trees on the premise that were able to support the weight of the bag for the shower. All the stronger trees were surrounded by tall spiky grass at the bottom which rendered them impossible to use without being stabbed. Fourth, we have never been so cold at night. The host took away the promised stove within the tent that was meant to keep us warm throughout our stay and it was miserable. It's in the mountains so the nightfall brings a real chill. We both had ample clothing on and multiple blankets but we were still unable to get any sleep. There were also a massive pack of either wolves or coyotes near by that continuously howled throughout the night. Also, there were some loud dirt bikers that seemed to prefer to ride at 1am near our tent in the middle of nowhere. Neither of which are the hosts fault but just be aware. As mentioned previously, we stayed one night and we left the next day even though we booked 2 nights. Fifth, the only redeemable quality of this place worth mentioning is the view at night. Beautiful stargazing since there is barely any light pollution. The views of the mountains are beautiful as well but those are the only positives. If you read this, please just know this place is awful and extremely overpriced for what you will receive. Know what you're getting yourself into before booking.

View, views, views. The wildest sunset we have ever seen. Way off road on a beautiful property, no one for miles. Truly amazing stay, host was pleasant. Will be back next year

Our stay at Mountaintop was amazing!! The location is such that you can see long views in many directions and have the sense that you are really truly in the middle of nowhere, with no people, noise, or houses anywhere in sight. The sunset was incredible, as were the stars. John was a super kind and gracious host, and yet we had total privacy to just enjoy the place. Highly recommended if you want just to get away.

Awesome Camp Keeper, Awesome Location. You will definitely need a 4WD to get up to the site.. but, once you do... it's amazing up there.

The site was beautiful! A little tricky to get to once off the main road (mostly from hesitation driving on private land but trust the path!) and it is totally worth it once you get there, especially if you're looking for quiet and seclusion. Amazing views and peace. Would happily go there again for a weekend getaway.
