Really nice spot, perched up and away on a hillside (we ended up on another campsite called Mountainside). It rained at night but it was super cozy in the tentrr. Everything was ready for us, and John the campkeeper was very accommodating and very nice. REALLY love the area, will be back.

Absolutely stunning campsite. Very secluded and gorgeous views. Host was responsive and condition was solid and clean for the most part. Entrance is difficult to find and Tentrr sign is TINY, so could be better marked. Otherwise, terrific experience overall.

Our family enjoyed a magical experience at Mountaintop. The views were stunning—pristine Catskill peaks all around and no humans in sight (we were perhaps the only ones on the mountain, save for some cows further down). Our wood stove-heated tent made the perfect retreat from chilly autumn weather—we stayed warm inside when it dropped below freezing on our second night. Tons of walk-able areas with great vistas right around the campsite and good proximity to nearby Roxbury and Arkville. Our campkeeper John was incredibly responsive and kind. He dropped everything to help our car up the mountain after a night of rain (important: 4-wheel drive is a must to access the camp site.) We cannot wait to return. Matt W.

Campsite was amazing! Very secluded (have to drive off-road for about a mile) and perfect location atop a mountain with the tent/deck facing west, perfect for sunsets and star-gazing. While a tent and some supplies are provided, it's recommended you bring extra firewood and/or portable gas stove for cooking and plenty of water. A hatchet and/or saw would also be helpful for chopping up any fallen trees/branches. Directions on how to get to the site were a bit unclear but the host and Tentrr were quick to respond allowing us to find the place. From what I understand, directions have also been remedied. Despite the initial issues, definitely worth it once you get there. We'll surely be back!
