The canopy of trees over the site was beautiful. We did not go into town, but the proximity of it was nice incase of emergencies. Host left a basket of essentials which made the stay very easy.

Great location to the city, great for a weekend get away!

Overall we had a great trip. Unfortunately we had a snafu with the wood that the campkeepers provided- it was wet and there wasn't enough to have a fire-pit dinner as well as a wood stove fire in the tent. Needless to say, we endured a very chilly night! I might recommend bringing your own wood that you can be sure is dry. Beautiful site though and we enjoyed a hike on the Appalachian Trail. Will return for sure!

Great experience. Wonderful, secluded location with lots to do in the local area. Was pleasantly surprised to find the Appalachian Trail a short walk from the site. Pat was very responsive and the site had everything we could have wanted.

Great location, close to NYC at about 1 hour. Spot is very secluded, but close to the road in case you need to get anything. Campkeepers are friendly, but not intrusive at all. The wood road leading to the site is a bit tricky if wet, better to have a suv or awd in that case. Otherwise very good, highly recommend.

Beautiful site close to the Appalachian trail and Beacon. Very responsive hosts. Loved the fancy tent. There's even a lookout platform in a tree near the site--kids enjoyed that!

We had an incredible time, and our hosts couldn't have been better. They even made a birthday cake for my husband (this trip was a surprise for his birthday). The site is deep enough in the woods that you won't see or hear anything but the beauty of nature, but close enough to the road that you can run out and get supplies if necessary. We would highly recommend staying here!

We had a great experience for our first camping adventure with our two young kids. It was a perfect location - felt like you were far from it all yet easy to access anything you could need. Thank you!
