“Wonderful setting. Everything was set up nicely and the additional items at the location were surely helpful in making our trip easier! Prime location for a nature getaway to unplug from life for a few days. There was a tub with shower head, drinking water, a tarp, cups, a garage can, fire pit, picnic table. It has a small cabin for storing any items you may want to in case of poor weather, grill with propane, hammock was a great touch, the view right on the water was perfect. Love the massive, beautiful rocks throughout the river- was great for a hike. I will def recommend to family and friends. My ONLY complaint would be the bugs. They were heavily present but that comes with camping in the woods I suppose so just be prepared.”
“An absolutely beautiful gem. John and Bonnie have gone above and beyond to make you have the most pleasant experience. The views are gorgeous.. no need to venture from the site if you do not want to! We will be going back!”
“John and Bonnie were WONDERFUL hosts. I am absolutely obsessed with this site. It is exactly what I was looking for. Secluded and private but still near enough to other people/towns to feel safe. It was beautiful. Waking up in the morning, meditating and doing yoga on the rocks on the creek in peace and quiet was amazing. They thought of everything! They already have a grill and outdoor wash tub and left a jug of drinking water. I truly cant say enough. I will most definitely be returning if they will have me! (And my dog).”
“We had a wonderful stay at Moosetrax! The site is beautiful, right on the Moose River! Platform for tent easily fit our 8 person tent. Bunk house is super useful for storing items/food when you're away from camp to keep critters at bay. Plenty of fresh water and firewood (for purchase). Our teenagers played in the river for hours each day. We crossed the river and hiked up to Ager Falls, watched kayakers take on some pretty serious rapids, drove into Old Forge for the afternoon, and soaked up the moonlight on the banks of the river in the evening. Would highly recommend!!”
“Lovely and relaxing locale right near the river. The campground was clean and rather large. There was a wooden platforms with several metal eye-hooks that can be used to tie down a tent. There is a fire ring , a small "bunk house" that can be used to store camping equipment or stay in if pitching a tent is not your thing, and a propane camp stove. The bunk house an also be used as a shelter in the event of inclement weather. There is a fire ring and complementary jug of water. The owner was very welcoming when I arrived. I would note that this site is a bit more rustic than some of the other sites listed on tentrr and it is a bit of a walk to the outhouse.”
“Beautiful area. It was soothing to be so close to the river. Landowners were very nice and attentive to anything we might have needed. Would stay there again.”
