Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“What a wonderful spot. Wind down the end of a private dirt road to find a short trail leading to an idyllic little double waterfall. The tent platform is right there. So nice to sleep to the sound of the water cascading down the side of the rock. Loved it there!”
“This was one of the best camping experiences I have ever had! Not only did the campsite come with many additional supplies, it was comfortable and well lit with absolutely beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be back!”
“We really enjoyed having a waterfall landscape to ourselves. The accommodations are primitive, but perfect for campers who were already packed and prepared to spend an evening at the site.”
“- Bring your own bedding and get in touch with Jim before the trip. Our reservation wasn’t on his Tentrr schedule even though Tentrr confirmed with us so he didn’t know we were coming until we called for checkin instructions when we were on the road. Jim was very friendly and helpful, even on short notice!
- Delightful place to wake up. Our dog loved swimming in the waterfall pool.
- If you are new to camping or don’t have gear, it’s a good place to start but it’s pretty expensive for essentially still camping.
- Private except for the other Tentrr spot down the road, but no one was there when we were.”
“This was our 2nd time staying here, this time it was for 2 nights. We loved it. It's peaceful and the waterfall was larger than last year. We definitely recommend bug spray! overall, it was another great stay and we will be back next year.”
“The space itself was incredibly peaceful. It was nice to sleep to the sound of the waterfall behind us and we enjoyed the nice Bushwhack hike up above the waterfall in the morning. We were looking for a quiet and peaceful place to take our dog outside of the city on the Fourth of July to escape the fireworks. This was communicated prior to our booking of the stay because we wanted to be sure this would be a peaceful retreat for us. Before our booking and arrival we were told we would be away from any area that would be setting off fireworks. Unfortunately, the surrounding homes were setting off fireworks and we had spent several hours of our stay consoling our frantic dog, away from home, and in the dark. Although this is obviously out of the control of the host, we felt there would be some prior knowledge the host would have as to how noisy their neighbors are on the fourth and were upset we were led to believe we would be far away from anywhere that would be setting off fireworks.”
