This is our second time staying with this particular Tentrr campsite and will truly say it was a home away from home!

We had a great stay at our Tentrr site outside Saugerties! The area was beautiful with big tall trees and gorgeous nature sounds. We even foraged mushrooms that we cooked on the fire for dinner. The site was relatively easy to get to but you'll need a car that can handle going off-road as the site is nestled in the woods. It was a little tricky getting our car through the thick trees but worth it for the privacy and natural beauty. My only complaint is that the bunk beds didn't feel particularly secure--it was very wobbly and creaky and looked like the planks of wood were splitting. We also had to bring our own bedding which was a lot to schlep. But other than that we had a lovely stay! A perfect weekend getaway.

Pathway to tent had a tree fallen obstructing the path, Nissan Rogue just fit. Seems like they hadn't been out to check on things. Wooden cabinet was full of moist/wet random stuff. A wolf spider was nesting in a mug with babies in cabinet. Outdoor shower bag was just hanging from a tree with zero private curtain, not ideal when one is naked regardless of being with family or friends. The hammock was sappy which we couldn't enjoy. Toilet was in a small thin tiny zip up tent, but the zippers were all broken so no privacy there and it got soaked when it rained. Area was pretty, especially the indigenous walls but I would not recommend staying if weather had even moderate rain because area was surrounded by swamp/wetlands. Woods were thin as far as tree cover. It poured tremendously and the main tent stayed dry but adding an awning or canopy would help when having to use the toilet in the middle of the pouring rain. Some of the firewood was wet-could have used a waterproof tote.

Hey there, thanks for your feedback here. Without honest reviews like yours, we wouldn't know where to improve. We are very sorry to hear that you had a less-than-ideal stay at one of our campsites. Since your review, we've gotten in touch with the host at this particular site and addressed some of your concerns. great and cozy. fun drive up to the site, my pickup squeezed through but really made you feel like you were in your own wooded space. It even rained and was so peaceful!

We had a relaxing time! The site was easy to find and was very comfortable. Do pack a hatchet, as there is not cut wood available, but there is plenty of wood to source from surroundings. The zipper on the bathroom tent was broken, but we made it work for us! Overall, our stay was delightful and we greatly enjoyed visiting Opus 40, Big Deep and Tinker Street nearby.
