“definitely need 4 wheel drive to reach the area. be prepared for the rooster on the property. otherwise loved the place and the deer in the field. will love visiting the place again.”
“Gorgeous property. Definitely need 4 wheel drive to get to the site. Very peaceful and the owner was very friendly and helpful, checking in to make sure all was ok.”
“Our time at this campsite was nice but not the best. To start, to get to the campsite there is a very steep hill that you would not be able to manage if you don’t have a certain type of car, which was not mentioned to us prior to us arriving. Once arriving at the campsite our host was very nice, but the campsite itself was dirty. Around the table where we were supposed to eat was littered with trash. Finally when we went to settle in for the night, the furnace that was supposed to keep us warm was completely filled with water. We had to spend an hour cleaning it out while it got colder and colder. Our trip was becoming not enjoyable, so we decided to leave early on our final day, only to get a flat tire attempting to get up the steep hill that leads to the road. All in all, I would use Tentrr again but not rent at this campsite.”
“We had a great time and Albert was extremely hospitable. We went with two younger boys who had a blast running around the forest and climbing the trees. The site is a short drive to Jim Thorpe or to various Appalachian Trail hookups in the area.”
“Such a lovely place and Albert was really nice and friendly. The camping area feels very secluded. We didn’t have 4 wheel drive and found it fine driving up to the site. In bad weather it would be tricky though.”
“Excellent location (some steep hills so definitely at 4wd vehicle will help!). Gorgeous and peaceful. The owner was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed.”
