“Very relaxing and low key. Perfect weekend trip just to unwind. We stayed at Fidos Vineyard because we brought our dogs and it was fenced in. They loved it. Super private. The camp manager there was very nice and super helpful! We will most definitely be spending another weekend there at some point. Would love to try it in the winter. I highly suggest everyone give it a try.”
“Exactly as advertised. The site was maintained and stocked nicely. Secluded and beautiful. Loved the option for meals in the old barn. Fencing made it much easier for camping with our dog. Walking the paved path of the abandoned zoo was amazing.
Be careful with small children. Glass and debris present on some of the walkways. Would have liked to see the old signs from the zoo on the refurbished lobby walls of the hotel. Signage made it clear we weren't welcome. Would also have liked a current map of trails. Advertised as 30+ miles of accessories trails, but couldn't find them.”
“Fido's is an excellent spot. We chose the site as we were planning to bring our dog and loved the idea that he could roam freely within the fenced area. We didn't end up bringing our dog, but we enjoyed the site immensely. Completely private, very comfortable, large sunny site with grassy yard and trees throughout. Weather was terrific, but having the barn as possible refuge in case of rain was comforting. The bed in the tent was super comfortable, and having water and small popup lantern supplied by the game farm was great. The 'tentrr-loo' was absolutly fine and has inspired me to duplicate the idea for an outdoor tent spot in our yard. Price seemed high, but no regrets!”
