Bet handling bike ever. Looks are very dated with nothing really new in this bike. Plumped for this bike because of the low seat height. The OEM seat, since replaced by a 'Honda gel seat!', is one of the most uncomfortable stock seats my bum has had the mispleasure of sitting on(biker for 40 years). Fuel economygood(ish), just don't go too far without checking how much fuel you've got for the only warning you'll get is when it hits re low warning level, i'd say about 20/30 miles tops on this. Held my breath a few times when biking in Scotland looking for a fuel pump. Local honda dealer staff are very good to indifferent; they certainly don't throw rose petals at your feet when you walk in but they do offer a coffee, what more could you ask for? Would I buy another Honda from them, probably but would certainly shop about. Would I but another honda based on the fireblade's reliability and handling? Absolutely yes. Would I buy another fireblade at the moment, absolutely not as it's far too old fashioned in the looks department and performance wise falling behind all of its competitiors.
