“Very pleased with the bike. I had a quick shifter and power commander system fitted. All works brilliantly. The only thing I´d say is ´- but perhaps this was to be expected - it´s quite a thirsty bike, when compared, for example, with the 2012 fireblade. But I´m still happy to have bought it. As I´m quite advanced in my years - tragically, late 60s - the fact that i find it comfortable and have done several trips of over 200 miles on it - should be of some significance.”
“Since owning this little bad boy all that has been done to it is the suspension set up for me and a change of tyres from qualifier 2 wthat came with the bike to conti evo road attack 2 evo. This machine is ideal for the road and handles beautifully with a wet weight of 200kg. The fuel consumption is not to bad for a litre class sports bike with the on board computer giving real real time fuel consumption and an average per tank. I've seen 195miles per tank thats using the reserve heavily and having to fill it with 17 ltrs So I reckon I could have had another 10 miles out of it before it died. I give it a 9 outa 10. I do love this bike.”
“The best bike I have ever owned but I spend my life in fear of loosing my license, I would love to have a speed limiter I could switch on and off. Always makes me smile and hats off to Tadao Baba he is a Genius!”
“This is the third fireblade I've had and I've also ridden blades at the Ron Haslam race school. I find them the easiest thou to ride fast and basically it's a point and go bike. Yes there is more powerful bikes out there in this class, but most riders will never ever reach the bikes limit on the road or track.”
“smooth power delivery. instinctive handling. turbine like engine.
does not need any of today's rider's aids= unadulterated riding experience full of satisfaction and rewarding
amazing fuel consumption to complement the above.”
