A real shame this order was not quite up to scratch, almost half the oysters were dry when we opened, not a good sign - just a bad batch I guess never had this problem before, love Carlingford oysters

As the oysters are supplied already packed in their boxes, due to health and safety regulations we are prohibited form opening them. Most of the oysters were delicious. My concern was with the packing. The oyster package was broken open (I'm guessing due to rough shipping) and the package arrived warm. I immediately put the oysters in the refrigerator and shucked them that evening for dinner. Most of the oysters (~8) were in good condition and I enjoyed them. About 4 of them opened easily, were dry on the inside and did not have a fresh smell. Rather than take a chance, I threw them away. I have feeling the shipping affected the overall quality of the oysters. The other items in the package were delicious after being cooked.

A tasty treat, some of the oysters had very little liquid. All were edible. With the addition of garnish etc no one noticed. Consume date was within 24hrs of receipt.

Was very disappointed with the quality of the Oysters , only because the packaging was very poor and the handling by the courier left to be desire . The box was damaged and the Oysters was on their side and all their juice escaped from the box leaving the Oysters dry . From the dozen I managed to salvage 5 . Please make sure your packaging are more secured when dealing with live food . Thank you .

As they are supplied to us sealed in their boxes, we are unable to check the contents of the box as due to heathy and safety regulations we are not permitted to open the oyster boxes.
