“Followed cooking instructions and had probe inserted. Pastry soggy as stated oven setting to low to make it crispy. So took it off and the salmon was delicious. Expensive for plain salmon”

Hi Denise, Thanks for reviewing the Salmon En Croute. I'm sorry it didn't turn out as you had hoped. All ovens are slightly different and many variants affect the cooking times, like what else you have in the oven at the same time, how often you open the oven door etc, so the cooking times given should be used as a guide. You may need to cook it for longer or turn up the temperature a little to crisp up the pastry - The Salmon will remain lovely and moist inside the pastry, even if it requires a little longer in the oven. “Plenty for 4 people but cooking time was a bit off for my oven , had to put in back as inside centre still raw”
