“There's lots of inflatable SUP's for sale on the internet but you must chose between cheap and expensive. Yes I paid a little more for the THURSO but the quality of it and the paddle were so much better.A friend bought one half the price and it's so narrow that he has a hard time standing up on it.I'm 6'4 and 280 and although the THURSO doesn't compare to my 14 foot rigid I can stand up and take this one for a 3 ride. Also the backpack works great to transport this board unlike my 14 foot which needs a truck or trailor to transport it!”

“Great SUP and it comes wtih a great paddle-We took the SUP to Hawaii for a 20 day trip and it worked out great. We put the item in checked luggage and then took it to various beaches and saved a ton by not needing to rent a board.”

“It's now been about 2 months since I purchased this board, and I've used it just about every day. I love it, although I will say it's not near as fast as I would like, as another reviewer has posted. I am going to try it tomorrow with only the 1 main fin, as this should potentially provide better tracking, ie the ability to go faster in a straight line. The 2 additional fins on the side help to provide better stability for rougher conditions and/or beginners.That being said, this board is 5 for an inflatable, and I'd gladly purchase it again. Due to it being 32" wide, it's extremely stable. I can rock back and forth, bounce up and down, with no worry of falling over. It's got an awesome design, and I've received many compliments on its aesthetics.I manually inflated it to 15 psi, and keep it inflated and stored in my garage. I check the air pressure once a week and have only found it under 15psi once. This board is extremely durable. I've wrapped a bungee tie down to the front D rings, so I just toss this in the bed of my pickup and attach the bungees to my truck bed and off I go to the lake.A note of caution: since the paddle is adjustable, make sure you check the fasteners often. I"m a strong paddler, and the fasteners had loosed on me. So while I was out paddling the paddle disconnected into 2 pieces on me. The bottom part of this paddle does not float at all. I had to purchase a new paddle. which I am ok with as my new paddle rocks.Now that I've learned a bunch, thanks to this board, I plan on buying a hard board to really truck it out on lakes. But I plan to keep this board around forever, and use it for my river travels. I highly recommend this board.”

“Great board. My family loves it. Easy to balance. Pretty simple to inflate and deflate. The bag hold everything inside with nice straps to carry over the shoulders.”

“This is a 3 board as far as inflatable boards go, and it is 3 looking. However I feel I was mislead by the advertisement and reviews. The board is slow on the water. No, you cannot compare it to the hard boards. I go out with a group, and this board takes a lot more effort to keep up the speed than other boards in the group. Also, inflating it with the manual pump is a hella of a job! Even my boyfriend, who is very fit, found it to be extremely difficult. With both of our efforts, we only got it to 12 psi before giving up (it was sturdy enough at that point). If you are looking for a board to just leisurely paddle around on, and aware that you'll most likely need to also buy an electric pump, especially if you are a female, it's a 3 board. If you are interested in going distances on it, it's rather slow. Sorry, I wanted to love it.”

Inflatable boards may not perform as well as hard boards in waves or long distance paddling, but will offer similar performance in flat water/little chop and leisure paddling. On the other hand, inflatable boards are more durable and less prone to dings or damages. “I purchased this board in July to take camping with me to Pinaries. It arrived within few days of my order, way ahead of estimated delivery date. All accessories came as advertised and it looks exactly the same as the photo. I test-inflated it at home before taking it to the lake and it was rigid when inflated to just 10psi (recommended 11-15psi). I used it with 1 center fin in still water and with 3 fins in choppy water and haven't flipped over once. The ride is very stable but can also glide pretty fast. It took a bit of practice to roll it properly so it fits inside the backpack with the pump and all other accessories, but compact backpack does not occupy that much space in the trunk. Overall I'm very happy with the board and accessories, the quality is truly a bargain for its price.”
