“I wanted to like this based on reviews and the awesome bottle, but I just couldn’t get past the alcohol front taste. I couldn’t appreciate the notes much, it tasted like a cheap sake which surprised me. I like boozy sakes that are funky, and honjozos, but this didn’t have that strong funky quality, just felt a bit sharp rather than crisp. May need to try another bottle.”
